"Rat King"

The mythology around the Rat King has existed for centuries, conjuring up ideas of bad omens, the plague and associations with witchcraft. I have always had a fascination with rats; they are seen as carriers of disease and symbolic of imminent danger or larger disasters. I am also interested in the way these beliefs have affected our relationship with this animal. 

The Rat King has been a phenomenon that has been on my mind lately, given the recent world pandemic and political situations.
